We were tasked with a redevelopment project to a failing Grade II listed building, where we were committed to blending the past with the present. This initiative involves the careful part demolition of a Grade II listed building to make way for a contemporary retail space, designed to meet modern needs while respecting the original building’s historical significance.

Our approach prioritised the preservation of the most important historic elements at the rear of the structure, ensuring that the character and charm of the original design are retained. This project not only aims to enhance the local commercial area of Bideford, but also honours the architectural heritage of the historically important quayside.
